They say “if you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it”, yet many health care facilities don’t record how waste is produced and managed. This set of six spreadsheet-based waste trackers, developed by Health Care Without Harm in consultation with strategic partner Health Environment and Climate Action Foundation (HECAF360), is designed to help bridge this gap and help health care facilities understand and control their waste management. Each one applies to a different stage of the waste management process, and they may be filled in by different people playing different roles in the system.
