Hospitals of the City Hall of São Paulo Health Public Network end the replacement of all mercury devices

The City Hall of São Paulo is the first in the country to eliminate the use of devices containing mercury in the public hospitals. From the inspected municipal institutions, 34 (thirty four) hospitals/emergency rooms and 85 (eighty five) primary health care centers were granted Honorable Mentions for their elimination of mercury devices.
