Health Care Without Harm at COP29

The 29th annual Conference of the Parties (COP) will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11 to 22, 2024, and is being referred to as the “Finance COP.”

Under the theme “In solidarity for a green world,” representatives from governments, multilateral agencies, civil society, environmental organizations, scientists, and activists will convene to discuss setting a new global climate finance goal to support climate action in developing countries.

Health Care Without Harm’s international delegation will participate in various events and roundtables, elevating the voice of the health care sector, showcasing different initiatives aimed at fostering low-carbon sustainable health systems, and advocating for a Just Transition away from fossil fuels.
